Day Tripping

Hi Ladies, I hope you will join us for our day trip this month on Thursday, November 16, when we will be exploring some different cultural destinations in London, and have an opportunity for some early gift shopping. Our first stop will be at Boutique Firenze, which specializes in Italian lambskin gloves in many colours, and scarves in various fabrics including silk, linen, and cashmere blends. They also have a variety of beautiful Canadian accessories and gifts made by artisans from London and across the country. The owner Bettina Weber will be opening early for us, to give us a personal introduction to her many wonderful products.
Lunch will be at Ya Ya’s Kitchen, where owners Malvin and Maryam Wright offer a unique multi-course tasting menu of Northern Nigerian inspired food, each plate presented in story-telling style.
After lunch, we will head to Ceylon Select Teas at the Western Fair Market building. The owner Davini Roderigo will be offering a tea tasting of six of her teas, including some spiced health blends and talk about her family history of tea growing in Sri Lanka. Cost $15pp.
